Andy Irvine & Donal Lunny Live at MAGISTORIUM

Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny are set to perform an insatiable gig next week in Dublin’s newest theatre style venue, Magistorium. Dubbed the ‘Godfather of Irish contemporary music’ and Irvine hailed as ‘a tradition in himself’, the duo are back together for their final Dublin gig of 2016. They will take to the stage at Magistorium on 22 South Anne Street, Dublin 2 next Thursday (1st of December) at 9:30pm.


Guests will be treated to a truly special show that will feature a mixture of traditional songs, originals composed by Irvine and a touch of Eastern European music.


Irvine and Lunny have been at the helm of legendary bands like Sweeney’s Men, Planxty, The Bothy Band, Mozaik, LAPD and recently Usher’s Island. Their unique style of accompaniment is an ongoing influence in the wider world of Irish music. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see these two legends of Irish music on stage together.


Doors open at 7:00pm, with Irvine and Lunny to take to the stage at 9:30pm. Guests have the opportunity to purchase tickets for show only for €25 or dinner and show for €55. Tickets are available from the Magistorium box office on 22 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, from or via ( ).
