On February 19th, Tribe a charity and community of young people committed to normalising the discussion around mental health in Ireland, will mark its first anniversary of partnering with Jigsaw to prioritise the mental health of young people across Ireland and raising €75,000.

To celebrate, Tribe has created a limited edition ‘Turtle’ hoodie designed by Irish artist Dan Leo, to bring people together and raise both awareness and money for Jigsaw. This hoodie features a graphic of a Sea Turtle, a symbol of ‘endurance’, which has always been central to the philosophy at Tribe.

Tribe will be launching the sale of the hoodie online on Thursday February 18th at 8pm, and will run until midnight on Sunday 21st. This is an exclusive, once-off sale and orders will only be processed within this period. The Hoodie priced €60 (excluding delivery) can be found at www.tribecharity.com/hoodie

In what has been such a tough year for everyone, Tribe wanted something that represents the power of perseverance, as well as celebrating the steps taken over the past twelve months in recognising the importance of our mental health as a nation.

Tribe marks one year in partnership with Jigsaw this February, where despite having to move its fundraising entirely online, Tribe has managed to raise almost €75,000 to support their essential work. Mike Mansfield, Director of Communications & Fundraising at Jigsaw, says “From day one, the team at Tribe has been incredible. Twelve months and €75,000 on, we are so grateful to all involved. To mark this milestone is important. It reminds us all of the need to work and stick together and to be resilient and continue to strive towards the achievement of our vision where every young person’s mental health is valued and supported.”
