KSG Catering Awarded Microsoft UK Contract

Irish catering and hospitality service provider KSG Catering Ltd has been awarded a major contract by Microsoft UK to operate two of its London centres.

The UK offices located at Thames Valley Park, Reading and Kingdom Street, Paddington are home to circa 3,000 personnel. The catering and hospitality contract is for a 5 year period with services commencing in late March 2019.

KSG currently provide services at the One Microsoft Place Campus, Leopardstown, Co Dublin, which opened in February 2018. The Leopardstown facility has an industry leading dining program, which includes an Italian Quarter, Forage & Gather Health Hub, Street Kitchen Pop Ups with vegetarian and vegan stations and a Cortado Coffee Bar, which roasts its own ethically sourced beans on site.

KSG will implement bespoke concepts for the UK sites incorporating the following culinary concepts:

  • ‘Knead’ Bakery – scratch onsite bakery baking its own breads and desserts on site
  • ‘Cortado’ Coffee Bar – coffee roasting on site with a direct supply link to a farmer’s  co-op in Columbia
  • ‘Forage & Gather’ – build your own meal – an array of salad selections to choose  from with the option of adding fish, chicken, soup or broth to complete your personalised meal
  • ‘Modern Classics’ – incorporating 3 stations serving chef specials – vegetarian, vegan, fish or meat options
  • ‘Street Kitchen’ – concept that changes every week to deliver a vibrant global culinary experience – Mexican, Vietnamese, Barbeque, Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean etc.
