Fitzers Catering has announced that it has renewed its contracts with Horse Racing Ireland for both Leopardstown and Fairyhouse Racecourses for a second four-year period. Both contracts have an option for a 10-year period length. The company, which has established itself as the country’s leading food and beverage provider to the horseracing sector, was also awarded a three-year contract for The Curragh racecourse in March of this year. Combined, all three contracts will generate revenues exceeding €5.5m per annum.

 

Fitzers Catering will cater for annual attendances of approximately 300,000 across the three racecourses each year. Fitzers will be involved with all of the major Irish races in the horse racing calendar, to include:  TheUnibet Gold Cup, the BHP insurance Champion Hurdle, the Boyle Sports Irish Grand National, the Tattersalls Guineas, the Kerrygold Oaks and the Dubai Duty Free Derby as well as the Longines Irish Champions Weekend.
